Biscit has formally announced its acquisition of ISP V21.  This adds an additional 33,000 customers to its customer base. The board at V21 have stepped down and been replaced by Biscits own board.

Biscit’s CEO, Hugh Paterson said ”Clearly, we’re delighted with this acquisition and the opportunity to serve V21’s resellers and end users”.

Paterson also emphasised a UK based call-centre to replace their india call-centre.

As a sidenote, having observed some of the comments by broadband users on numerous forums, many appear frustrated with speaking to indian call centres, citing problems such as lack of knowledge and being unable to understand them clearly.  Surely the problem lies with the people hiring them.
