Customers affected by an outage on Orange’s LLU network are now back online.

The outage which occurred on the broadband LLU network on Monday afternoon, affected about 100,000 subscribers.  Orange has stated that all the users are now back online.

Orange’s LLU network currently has about 10% of total subscribers, with the rest being on the BT wholesale network.  The LLU (Local Loop Unbundling) process involves providers installing their own equipment in BT exchanges, thereby allowing them to offer their own broadband service without BT wholesale.
