Biscit today announced discounts on phone and broadband packages for students and senior citizens.

The announcement follows a call by Biscit last week for the government to provide subsidies for these groups.

The discount applies to Biscit’s FreeMAX phone and broadband packages.  FreeMAX is priced at £18 per month rather than £19.99 per month for a phoneline, 12 hours of anytime calls, 8 meg broadband plus 2GB of downloads.  FreeMAX unlimited is priced at £27 per month rather than £29.99 per month and offers 2400 minutes of anytime calls plus unlimited usage (subject to fair usage policy).

How to apply

Students should fax a copy of their student card quoting reference “EDU 10″ to Biscit’s fax number 07092 111511. Senior citizens should fax a copy of their travel card to the same number quoting reference “SC 10.” Terms and conditions apply.
