Consumers are encouraged to take part in a new survey on the BBC website to evaluate broadband customer satisfaction.

BBC’s Watchdog program on 27 February 2007 highlighted the growing number of complaints received to them about problems with their broadband providers.  To follow up, the BBC is encouraging consumers to fill in a survey on the BBC’s website, the results of which will be aired on 14 March 2007.

We would recommend all broadband consumers take part in the survey, which will only take a few minutes and help to highlight the key areas in which broadband providers are performing well and not so well.

We also think it is important for consumers who have received good service from their provider to take part.  Although as a nation we do not always praise good service, it is important to do so, as negative only views can give a one sided view of overall service levels.

Consumers can fill in the survey here.
