Sally Davis is to become the new CEO of BT Wholesale.
Sally has moved from her role as BT’s Chief Portfolio Officer, where she lead the migration to the company’s new broadband and network IT services.  She will replace Dr Paul Reynolds, who leaves in September to join Telecom New Zealand.

Having been with the company for eight years, she has also worked as president of BT Global Products where her role included bringing together a single global portfolio across all units and countries.  Sally has previously worked for several high profile telecommunications companies, including Bell Atlantic and Mercury Communications.

BT’s chief executive Ben Verwaayen said of the appointment:
“Sally has an exceptional level of experience and a proven track record in the communications industry on both sides of the Atlantic. This gives her a powerful insight into the needs and the opportunities of BT’s wholesale customers.”

BT Wholesale is Europe’s largest wholesale business and delivers network services and solutions to more than 700 communications companies including fixed and mobile network operators, ISP’s and other service providers.
