Setanta have announced a broadband service offering live sports and a catch-up service.

The service includes 46 live games from The Barclays Premier League as well as live coverage from the Scottish Premier League, Golf and Rugby Union.  A catch-up service is avilable for the majority of missed programmes through a free on-demand archive service.

Subscription costs £7.99 per month or £79.99 for an annual subscription.  This gives subscribers access to sports action from Setanta Sports 1, 2 and Setanta Golf live.

The content will be streamed at two different levels of quality – medium quality 350kbps and high quality 600kbps.  Those interested are recommended to try the demo on their own computer before signing up to check it works on their machine.

Setanta also recently signed up Des Lynam to present some of its football coverage.  Find out more about the service at Setanta By Broadband
