Following recent tie-ups with BT Vision and Virgin Media, Setanta sports have agreed a deal with Tiscali TV.

Tiscali TV viewers can now choose between subscribing to the Sky Sports channels that are already available or Setanta sports.  Or both for keenest of sports fans.

The latest tie-up sees Setanta continue trying to get its sports channel, and in particular the live football coverage, into as many homes as possible.  An area which has traditionally been dominated by BSkyB.  Setanta changed that over the summer by winning the rights to broadcast 46 live premier league games.

However, Tiscali’s rivals also offer Setanta sports.  It can be had with an appropriate subscription to BT Total Broadband (via BT Vision) or Virgin Media.

That’s not all.  Anyone with a freeview box that has a viewing card slot can also subscribe to Setanta.  On a similar theme another rival, Carphone Warehouse, have a campaign running this month that offers two months free subscription with a free freeview box for those taking out its phone and broadband bundle.

Sports fans can also subscribe to Setanta’s onlint broadband only service that offers similar sports coverage, including the live football.
