ISP Be and Mobile network T-Mobile have both reduced prices on their broadband services.

Be’s price cuts apply to the Unlimited and Pro packages, down from £24 and £40 to £18 and £22 respectively.  The LLU broadband provider’s price cuts should prove attractive, especially with Be Pro at £22 per month, which offers prioritised support, a free static IP address and for those who may require it, the benefit of a higher upload speed of 2.5Mbps, albeit at the slight loss of download speed.

Next week, Be’s owner 02 is set to offer its own broadband service based on the same network infrastructure.

T-Mobile’s standalone mobile broadband service drops in price for those signing up to a 24 month contract.  Prices for its Web ‘n’ Walk service that can offer up to 1.8Mbps download speeds, are available from £35 and £20 per month respectively.  The cost remains £44 and £29 per month for 12 month contracts.  The move brings them closer to prices from Vodafone and 3 for mobile broadband access.
