Tiscali owned Pipex have made changes to simplify its product range.

The old Mini, Midi and Max packages still exist in their basic form, but Pipex has also introduced a new high end ‘Pro’ package, aimed at heavy downloaders and uploaders.

The main change is the introduction of a usage allowance on all products.  Pipex aims to differentiate itself  by not offering any unlimited usage packages, but operate a structure where customers will pay for the usage allowance required.  Customers who go over their limit can buy an additional 3GB of usage for £3.  However, as Pipex themselves point out, the majority of users will probably never need to buy more.

The Pipex website has also been redesigned to make it easier for consumers to browse and choose the right package.  There is the inclusion of a usage calculator which selects an appropriate package based on the usage pattern selected by user.

Pipex are also offering a 30 money back guarantee for users without charge in the first month of their contract.
