Virgin Media is offering 2Mbps broadband for £10 per month in a new promotion. The promotion is a revival of a similar offer last summer.  Customers taking out the entry level “M” package, with speeds of up to 2Mbps, get broadband for £10 per month for the first six months, after which it reverts to the standard price of £18.  It is also available for £4.50 a month if it’s taken out with a phone line.

There are also price cuts for those taking out the “L” (4Mbps) or “XL” (20Mbps) packages.  These cost £17 and £29 per month respectively.  These revert back to £25 and £37 per month after the first six months.

Customers on the “L” package however will benefit further as Virgin Media is to upgrade the speed of this package to 10Mbps.  This upgrade will be free of charge to all customers.

Please note that these prices apply to customers living in a cable area only.  Use the SeekBroadband comparison service to check coverage in your area or find out more at the Virgin Media website.
