Following the news to recall thousands of cars due to a potential issue with accelerator pedals, Toyota has launched a website to help customers.

The issue could cause the accelerator pedal to stick in a partially open position says the Toyota recall website.

The website explains what models are affected and provides further information about the issue. Toyota is also due to launch a lookup facility on it in the next few days for customers to check if their car is affected.  This blog post from Toyota also provides some advice on what to do for those concerned about the issue.

For car recalls in general, a useful place to look is this VOSA website where consumers can look up the model of their vehicle for any potential recalls.
