O2 Mobile Broadband offers pre-pay dongles at half-price for a limited period

O2 Mobile Broadband has announced a sale on pre-pay dongles until 11 March 2010.

The dongle, which is a Huawei E160 dongle available in black or pink, usually costs £20 upfront, but is available for £10 for a limited time.

There are 3 usage plans to choose from when topping up.  Pay £2 for 24 hours and 500MB, £7.50 for 7 days and 1GB, or £15 for 30 days and 3GB of usage.  All plans come with unlimited WiFi at over 7500 WiFi spots in the UK.Top-ups can be made online.
 
The E160 dongle is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 (updated drivers may be needed – instructions are available on the O2 website) and Mac OS X (10.4 or 10.5).

O2 recently announced many other changes to its mobile broadband offering, including 3 months free on contract mobile broadband packages.
